The 12th Rwanda International Fair Trade was held in Kigali, Rwanda, from 30 July to 10 August 2009. This fair helped more than 300 exhibitors from 9 countries to sell their products to the public.

Duhamic-Adri and Adenya, the two Rwandan partner associations of Frères des Hommes organised a stand to promote the work of Rwandan wood craftsmen and defend their products against imported ones.
Tables, chairs and doorways were exhibited, as were the tools used to make them. Evariste Minani, the president of Imbonya Cooperative, was also present. With the support of the Frères des Hommes, a group of woodworkers from Nyaruguru District (in southen Rwanda) has created a cooperative for the promotion of quality wood craftsmanship in rural areas. The fair was a success for these associations which left Kigali with 25 new orders.
