These sustainably run micro plantations will help vulnerable people in the area meet their heating needs and create new sources of income, through the commercialisation of charcoal. At long last, the plantations will ensure an access to wood supplies for Duhamic Adri’s carpenters, who are supported by Frères des hommes under a three-year project promoting traditional woodwork. This will give the poorest communities, often the most affected by damage to the environment, an eco-friendly access to natural resources.
