France/Brazil - Celebrating 25 years of Brazilian struggle in the heart of Paris
On the occasion of the 25 years of struggle for access to land and the worldwide promotion of smallholder agriculture, the Brazilian Movement for the landless (MST) put up two tents for landless persons in the heart of Paris at the Place des Innocents near the busy district of Les Halles. The « Comprendre pour agir 2010 » catalogue is now available
The latest issue of the "Comprendre pour agir" catalogue has just come out! It’s a catalogue of teaching tools on development and international solidarity, with a wide choice of books, greeting cards, DVDs, board games and reports.

France/India - A sporting and ecological undertaking to show solidarity!
10 000 km on bicycle from France to India: a new way of extending support to the Freres des Hommes.
Four young residents from Orleans, Loïc Debray, Thomas Heinry, Tanguy de Belmont and Sylvain Koch-Mathian, show their support for our Indian partner, Ekta Parishad by ‘selling’ kilometres cycled to finance the creation of a training centre for traditional and organic agricultural techniques founded by the Ekta Parishad in the state of Tamil Nadu, India.

DynamoS’olidaire ride for Frères des Hommes
Saturday April 4th, the starting signal was given to Loïc Debray, Tanguy de Belmont and Sylvain Koch-Mathian for their bicycle ride to Tamil Nadu, a state in Southern India, where they are due to arrive after ten months and… 8,000 miles.

"Being a woman is..."
March 7th. It’s 8:30 at the market of Palente in Besançon. Bystanders and Saturday morning shoppers are talking in front of giant-size pannels, which encourage them to reflect on the questions : « Being a man is… » « Being a woman is… ». On the Eve of Women’s Day, a dozen people gathered around Frères des Hommes in order to take part in a « Speak out » workshop.

The Frères des Hommes’ summer trip to Brittany
Three Freres des Hommes activists, Manu Louail, Brenda Mager and Baptiste Simon, left on a trip to Brittany in July and August of 2008 to meet Britons and holidayers in Brittany to share their experiences from Janadesh and to forge an alliance between local and international solidarity organisations. Manu and Brenda had participated in the movement of landless peasants in India in the autumn of 2007. During their return trip, they met agricultural organisations from Asia and Europe.
