Our partners in the South
Since 1965, Frères des Hommes has lent its support to over a 1000 projects initiated by almost 40 local development authorities in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean.

Aims
Lay the foundations for a system of sustainable development, in collaboration with local partners and in a context of decentralized cooperation.

Activities
In France and in Europe, inform and raise awareness of the global issues of cooperative development.
In the South, Frères des Hommes contributes to the abolition of world poverty, by supporting local associations in their involvement with underprivileged communities.
Worldwide, Frères des Hommes promotes exchanges with partners of the association, both in the North and the South.

Methods
The projects supported by Frères des Hommes are designed and set up by the communities themselves, in partnership with local organizations who have a practical understanding of the area.
