Birth of a Partnership

Privileged Cuban partner of Frères des Hommes for many years now, Cieric has assured coordination of activities for a program of reconstruction and development of the metropolitan Park of Havana, in cooperation with other administrative entities in the capital. Nearly 10 000 people live in this park, which is the green lung of the city, whilst it is plagued with numerous problems : housing, ecological erosion, pollution, unemployment.
In order to include the populaces in the management of their ecological and economic environment, Frères des Hommes decided in 2002 to shoulder Cieric.
