Tusoco is an association that coordinates and represents 18 tourist circuits put in place by the communities in all of Bolivia. In this way, Tusoco assists in offering an additional source of revenues to Bolivian village communities, and respects and puts in the spotlight local culture and the natural environment.
Tusoco backs communities who wish to adopt solidarity tourism, by offering training for guides and translators, and training on commercial, administrative and money management. Tusoco also encourages the sharing of experiences between communities who have developped similar projects.
Finally, Tusoco represents communties before their governments and encourages the different authorities, departmental and municipal, to develop public policies that encourage solidarity tourism.
