About us

Created in 1965, Frères des Hommes is a state-approved organization — without religious or political affiliation — supporting international solidarity.

In Africa, Asia, and Latin America, Frères des Hommes and its partners contribute to improving life conditions among the poorest populations. Through concrete, hands-on activities, we work in three different areas: peasant agriculture; solidarity economy; and civil democracy.

In France, Frères des Hommes informs and raises public awareness of the global issues of sustainable development. Together with our partners engaged in the fight against poverty in the Global South, we organize training about international solidarity for young Europeans. Open to the world, we strive to match up both local and international solidarity organizations to participate in the fight against poverty.
