Marie Dorigny, a photographer, has travelled widely in India, to the places governed by Ekta Parishad, partner of Frères des Hommes. She has brought together her photographs for an exhibition entitled So far from Ghandi.

Elise Reslinger has delivered your letters to the Janadesh marchers
On April 17, 2008, for the International Day of Peasants’ Struggle, Frères des Hommes asked you to support Indian marchers by signing a letter to the marchers. A lot of you have already shown your support and you can still do so!
First results:
We have collected almost 250 signatures,
Over a hundred messages of solidarity have been sent to the marchers,
The letters came from 46 ‘départements’,
18 French regions have been involved,
The Basse-Normandie, Bretagne, Centre, Ile-de-France, (...)

Janadesh, the March, a real step forward for the Right to Land
October 18 and 19 2008, militants belonging to Ekta Parishad organised a public assembly at Gwalior. Objective: to assess the results obtained and pass in review the actions undertaken after Janadesh.
For many years now Ekta Parishad has been battling for the rights of the poorest. Janadesh was a significant mobilisation organised in October 2007 with as a result important actions permitting several advancements:
